Logan City Fire Station 70
Logan City / Logan, Utah
Our team provided comprehensive electrical engineering services for the new Logan City Fire Department Station 70. This three-story facility spans a total of 19,000 square feet and incorporates a wide range of specialized spaces, including administrative offices, training room, restrooms, workroom, truck bays, turnout locker room, SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) workroom, laundry/washroom, break room, sleeping quarters, fitness room, kitchens, and day room. The fire station also includes an emergency generator backup system to maintain operations and communication capabilities during disaster scenarios.
We worked closely with the architect, city, and fire department officials to develop customized electrical solutions that met the specific needs of the fire station, including unique lighting systems and advanced alarm alerting technologies. A key aspect of the project was ensuring that the electrical infrastructure would support the energy requirements of the fire station, including its emergency systems. We coordinated with local power and communication providers to ensure that the electrical capacity was sufficient to handle the station's load, both for regular operations and for emergencies. This required detailed assessments of power demands and coordination with utility providers.
Throughout the project, we maintained clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders to ensure the electrical systems met the project’s functional, safety, and sustainability goals, while also addressing the specific operational needs of the fire department.
Envision Engineering completed this project before the merger.
