Port-au-Prince Haiti Temple

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints / Port-au-Prince, Haiti

The Port-au-Prince, Haiti Temple is a single-level, 10,000 SF building designed to serve members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Caribbean area. As the electrical engineering consultant for the project, our team provided electrical engineering design and construction administration services for the construction of the temple building.

Given the unique climate conditions of the project location, special design considerations were implemented to withstand tropical storms. We provided electrical engineering and design services for security, lightning protection, and emergency power generation. In addition, our scope of services included detailed and extensive lighting design to meet the specialized interior and exterior lighting enhancements that are a stunning trademark feature for these religious buildings and grounds.

Envision Engineering completed this project before the merger.
