Primary Children’s Hospital Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Campus

Intermountain Health / Lehi, Utah

This new $600 million pediatric healthcare campus expands access to world-class care for children and families across the Intermountain West. The development includes a five-story hospital and a three-story medical office building. Together, these facilities provide over 400,000 SF of space dedicated to inpatient and outpatient services, all supported by an energy-efficient central utility plant.

Our team provided award-winning, full-service mechanical and electrical engineering services throughout the design and construction of the entire hospital campus. We provided innovative energy- and cost-efficient solutions to support the specialized needs, demands, and stringent healthcare protocols of the hospital and office building.

The hospital offers an extensive emergency care department, advanced diagnostic imaging, surgery centers, specialized treatment areas, and a fifth floor dedicated to behavioral health. The medical office building houses 35 outpatient specialty clinics, offices, and education and conference spaces to provide comprehensive care and support for patients and families. The campus also incorporates family-friendly amenities and inclusive outdoor spaces, creating an environment that prioritizes both clinical excellence and patient well-being.
