BIM Student Intern

Location: On-site – Salt Lake City, Utah

Summary:

The BIM Intern provides drafting and modeling support for complex projects across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and technology system components. This is a part-time internship position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Revit standards maintenance; update standard details, families, and symbols.

• Model MEP systems for all types of projects.

• Interact and work directly with BIM Managers and project team members.

• Learn Revit MEP.

• Complete assigned work while adhering to deadlines.

• Evolve knowledge of drafting methods and industry standards.

• Read and understand plans and redlines.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Organized, detail-oriented, self-starter, punctual, and team player.

• Strong learning retention for skill development and processes.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma required.

• Recently completed or currently pursuing a certification in BIM.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
